Women On The Crossroads

Your Page

This page is all about you - your inspirations and aspirations and what motivates you in life. Other women on the site will be able to connect, network and communicate with you, especially if you all share the same goals. You can add your music, videos and pictures to make your page special to you. What a great way to make friends all over the world with a similar mindset!

Forum

Your space, your place, your issues. Forums allow discussion on any issues which may affect the daily lives of women. Women on the site share their experiences, educate and assist each other by communicating their views, get help with dilemmas from professional Life Coaches on health, relationship issues, career and business, parenting, beauty and of course spirituality. You can also explain feelings, make decisions and generally give advice. It's a great place to cultivate confidence by participation as we all have something to offer. You can also promote your business or website here.

Events

No reason to be kept out of the loop - Our events section will tell you about places to go, motivational talks to attend and highlight theatre events wherever you are.

Blogs

Every woman has something to say about a situation that has happened in her daily life, whether it be a relationship dilemma or something funny that has happened along the way.

SHERRY SAYS

I know many women understand the importance of assistance because when women assist and encourage each other, we all gain and move forward. Support allows us to grow, extend our network, become more focused, which ultimately is reflected within our personal and business lives. WoTC will promote and provide the facilities for vision, growth, development and awareness. It’s our aim to provide the source of inspiration for women who have lost direction, focus and confidence. We intend to address topics such as relationships issues, career challenges of breaking into male-dominated fields, health and family, finding mentors in the workplace/academia.

Just like any road, there are corners, detours, and crossroads in life. Perhaps the most perplexing road that you would encounter is a crossroad. With four roads to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they would go, which road will you take? What is the guarantee that we would choose the right one along the way? Would you take any road, or just stay where you are: in front of a crossroad? You do not really know where a road will lead you until you take it.

The important thing is that you have chosen to live your life instead of remaining a bystander or a passive audience to your own life.

‘Let’s throw a kids party’.

We were recovering from yet another fun filled, busy weekend.  The Youth Charity Concert I helped to organise with the youth of our church had been a roaring success. But, as ever, my mind was looking for the next project.  Feet exhausted from wearing…

5 KEYS TO UNLOCKING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL

I used to hate planning. It felt unnatural and forced. Life felt like less of a grand adventure. I enjoyed the thrill of spontaneity, improvisation, and watching things naturally fall into place.

For a while, this approach worked. I did things that interested me and opportunities fell into my lap. I felt in touch with the flow of life.

But then a point came when life stopped moving so smoothly. I found myself spread too thin, spending my time and energy on things that didn’t…

Afrodisiac?

It’s 4.30am in the morning and I’m wide awake…why? Because I’ve had a traumatic trip to the hairdressers and I keep wondering if when I take off my gorgeously sexy make shift hair net, if I will pleased with what I see.  Will it remind me of the cunning…

A CREDO FOR MY RELATIONSHIP

A Credo For My Relationships With Others.

You and I are in a relationship, which I value and want to keep. Yet each of us is a separate person with unique needs and the right to meet those needs.

When you are having problems meeting your needs I will listen with genuine acceptance so as to facilitate your finding your own solutions instead of depending on mine. I also will respect your right to choose your own beliefs and develop your own values, different though… Continue
